A new global threat to life! Great! Looks like it doesn't kill that much, but can shut down schools, workplaces and public transport. A bit like snow. Hurrah! More working from home!

Everybody, everywhere, should know that when sneezing or coughing, the mouth/nose shouls be covered completely with a proper, cotton handkerchief; and also that hands should be properly washed several times each day.
The common cold and influenza viruses could be wiped-out IF only this was done.

Gosh, thanks for that thorough advice Ann. I feel prepared from watching the remake of Survivors on the BBC last year. I wonder if they'll follow through the commissioning of series 2 now?

Mighty unfair of you, Bob. But I guess that now, when the virus is going to consume us all in a short while, if it is all the same with you, I'll concentrate on emptying my reserves of drink. No sense in letting the stuff going to waste, is there?
Guess what? I had yet another cold this weekend and I felt so bad I thought it might be swine flu. Anticipated at least two weeks off work. Sadly, I feel much better today and so I don't think it was swine flu after all.
