JADE GOODY
Jade Goody is doing what Jade Goody does better than anyone else - she is playing the hand she has been dealt. She came from nothing and she'll return to nothing, as will we all, but what a life she forged in between. Not my kind of life, but then, I'm not Jade. She is.
I won't hear a word against the woman.

Look its all very sad but sorry Jade Goody isnt the only person with cancer at her age in this country and she isnt going to be the last!! Its so ridiculous the way people are going on about this, even Gordon Brown has to say something, surely he has more important things to be commenting on!! By the way Will, the royal family have done far more for this country in one day than jade goody ever has!!
Dear Anon - The Royals are also "just playing the hand they have been dealt" and every silly visit to some infirmary or other, At Least gets the place freshly painted more often than it would have been.
There is a joke about Her Maj thinking the whole world smells like fresh paint.
Anon - firstly, you're not sorry at all. If you were sorry about how you felt about Jade's situation you'd keep your thoughts to your self. What you wouldn't be doing is spending your time finding out blogs that have done a post about her and sharing your hard-hearted opinions on them.
Gordon Brown may have more important things to comment on, but obviously you don't have anything better to do than to make diasagreement with someone who has words of support for a dying woman. GB was asked questions about Jade by journalists - he could hardly ignore them could he? You, however, have gone out of your way to make comment.
Lastly - your comment about Jade not being the only person to go through this, and yet, boy, she gets a mention from the Prime Minister! That's ridiculous! But that's what I love. Jade was born poor and obscure, but she will not die poor or obscure. Jade will die with the kind thoughts of millions of strangers to see her on her way. Not many of us will get that. Good for her.
But such popularity also brings enemies because it makes people jealous.
