Small Town unemployment figures fall to an all time low

I find myself employed, though I don't start the job for another two weeks, and it is only for a few months.

I feel I should declare, given that this is a politicalish blog, that I will be working for a local Labour MP. I feel I should also declare, given the contents of a recent post, that it is not Clare Short.

In the interests of keeping employer confidentiality, and my job, I doubt anything of the work I do will be referenced here at all. But I reserve the right as a free citizen of a democratic country to continue writing whatever I like about the Labour government, using a nickname and the anonymity of the internet.

OOh, warmest congrats and all that, Scibbles!

Hope you enjoy the job (I did something similar with our - now de-selected - MP. It was bloody hard work, but dead interesting. If you want any tips on digital filing please let me know!)

I meant to wish you luck but hey, the thought must have been enough.

I had an interview last week - NHS and half the pay I would normally expect - but it's NHS and if I get it I can say that I truly am a pox doctor's clerk :)
